Drinking From a Coconut

I just had to post this picture of me drinking the coconut water directly from the coconut. This is a normal occurance around here. I happen to be at the beach, while I'm enjoying this coconut, but we are generaly offered coconuts when we visit people in their homes. Since food isn't usually kept on hand, when we show up, someone is sent to go climb a coconut tree, cut down the coconuts for us and then a guy cuts open the coconut with a machete. It's actually quite a cool experience!

It'll forever be implanted in my brain...coconuts, that day at the beach, all of it.
Thanks for making my trip more memorable.
Love you like a sister!
